Stretching: You know you need to do more of it, but something always seems to come up, right? Like making that delicious new smoothie recipe you bookmarked or banging out a set of these five-minute ab exercises. Consider this your reminder to stop what you're doing, unroll your yoga mat and take a few minutes to give your body a little love.
To help you reduce those aches and pains (tight hip flexors anyone?), follow along with the simple stretching routine in this video. The moves are from Jana Webb and Evolve Functional Fitness, a new streaming workout subscription app and service. Webb is a yoga instructor who has worked with elite athletes from the NHL, MLB and NFL so she focuses on stretching the areas that need it the most after a tough workout or training run.
